    Comments about "" Fleece:

I yearned for this yarn and could barely stand waiting for the box to arrive. Took it out of the box first and liked the feel of the product. First disappointment: I could NOT knit it on the machine, try as I might. So I knitted it by hand. Ugh. I despised the feel of it running through my fingers. The hat I knit has NO body. It makes a strange looking fabric. My kids don't like the feel of the knitted product. The yarn is oleophilic so if suffer from dry skin, DO NOT KNIT THIS YARN. It will dry your skin even more. I have several balls remaining. I will see if I like it better crocheted. If I do, I'll edit my review. If I don't, I am Freecycle-ing the rest of it. Life's too short to knit yarn you hate.

I have just started knitting with this product so can't have much to say except I like the 'yarn' and plan on using it for a crochet project I have in mind.

    Comments about "" Fleece:

I bought this to make hats and scarves for grandkids as thought it would be very soft next to their skin. It worked well for the scarves, but the hats didn't have enough stretch even with ribbing. They didn't stay on their heads.

      Comments about "" Fleece:

This is a fantastic yarn, it sort of reminds me of Plymouth's Oh My baby yarn but sturdier. It is super soft for delicate skin. I have been knitting a scarf from it and plan on a matching hat. Now if Webs only sold it in white I would be a completely happy camper.
