Comments about 9.99 Ty-Dy Wool:

I ordered this yarn in April of 2016 and saved it for a special project as it is a lovely yarn and soft to the touch. Today I began knitting a cowl and it was working up beautifully until I discovered flaws in the yarn a few rows in. Two of the four plies of the yarn were broken. I ripped out, clipped off the bad area and started again only to find the same thing again after a couple of inches into my knitting. Ripped it all out again. I unrolled quite a bit of the ball and there were broken plies in many places so the yarn isn't really usable.

Comments about 9.99 Ty-Dy Wool:

Used for Grandson's scarf. School colors are blue and silver. Yarn was blue, blue and green instead of blue, silver and yellow. The quality of the yarn was very nice but color was way off. Would not use if color matters.

    Comments about 9.99 Ty-Dy Wool:

This was for a planned project (which I haven't gotten to yet as I'm stash busting!), but I used it previously in a dreambird shawl and the result was stunning but a gift so I wanted to do another similar-ish for me.

      Comments about 9.99 Ty-Dy Wool:

Yarn swift and winder are must have accessories if you are going to be purchasing yarn in hanks. They are an investment but sure beat chairs or knees for holding yarn to be wound. The winder makes short work of getting from yarn hank to yarn cake to beginning you project.

        Comments about 9.99 Ty-Dy Wool:

I am knitting a sweater with it. This yarn is the kind that splits and an individual ply piece breaks easily causing a run up the yarn. It has very abrupt changes, a nice blend wouldve been nice. It ends up looking stripey in places which I hate. That said, I do not know of a good replacement for this yarn with these colors at this weight.
