Knitscene’s Beatrice Sweater Kit includes the Fall 2018 issue of Knitscene and all the Valley Yarns Northampton yarn needed to knit this modern women’s pullover in color #47 Rust.
Beatrice Sweater, designed by Lana Jois, begins with a lace inset panel. The body of the sweater is worked from the bottom up, first knitting flat to create a side vent, and then knitting in the round to the underarms. The sleeves are knit in the round from the bottom up to the sleeve cap and seamed into the armholes. The lace inset panel adds asymmetry and draws the eye. Valley Yarns Northampton is a warm wool with excellent stitch definition, and you can pair this pullover with jeans or slacks. Lace pattern is charted only.
