This class is Section One. See Section Two HERE. Choose only one section.

This class is intended for those who have never knit before. First-time knitters will learn a variety of basic techniques: the long-tail cast-on, knit and purl stitches, and binding off. The most important topic covered is gauge: what it is and how to make a gauge swatch. Other topics covered include yarn weights and corresponding needle sizes, the importance of reading and understanding the ball band, and fixing mistakes.
