Named for the highest mountain in the Westfjords in Iceland, Kaldbakur is a stunner of a shawl. This piece is knit from the top down in a textured stitch pattern and graduated stripes create a subtle effect on the body of the shawl, ending with a pop of color. The lace edging at the bottom is worked vertically and attached to the shawl edge. Stitch patterns are written out only.
