Comments about Yarn > Knitting Yarn Forest Dew Fingering:

I have made several purchases of this yarn. I REALLY like it. I now have the red tweed, (2) white, black/purple, sand and concrete. This is a fine luxurious yarn.

Comments about Yarn > Knitting Yarn Forest Dew Fingering:

I now have red tweed, white (2), black/purple and concrete (2). I love the feel of this yarn - so very soft. The fineness (thinness) is great for lace. I knit this yarn as a single strand with US3 needles. I have only bought it at the closeout price which I think is a decent price for the yarn. If Webs carries it again I will probably buy more.

    Service and delivery comments:

The second ball of white that I received was a mess. Apparently some of the yarn had come off the ball and whoever handled/packaged it tangled it up while trying to wind it back up. It took several minutes to untangle it. The balls are wound a little loosely so I can understand how the yarn came off, but please don't make a bigger mess of it.

Comments about Yarn > Knitting Yarn Forest Dew Fingering:

I am knitting a Butternut scarf as a Christmas gift in white (more of an ecru) on wooden Clover US3's. They work fine. I am pulling it from the center and it does twist a bit. (Might not if used from the outside.) I first bought the red tweed and it came in a hank (must be hand wound before use). I then ordered the white and it came wound. I like the scarf so much my husband told me to order more yarn to knit one for myself! This yarn feels wonderful.

Comments about Yarn > Knitting Yarn Forest Dew Fingering:

Would use this lovely yarn again. Knits up into the most gorgeous fabric. Originally purchased to felt up some baby slippers, but failed to felt. So, used to make a baby cardigan.....and it is GORGEOUS. Needed to knit with two strands to get up to a 4ply.

Comments about Yarn > Knitting Yarn Forest Dew Fingering:

word of caution, if you pull it from the skein rather than ball it ahead of time, you will have a mess of tangles. nice finished product but my skein collapse and it took great patience and days to untangle. If using it double as I am, you must ball it ahead of time into two strands.
