This is my first time using this yarn for crochet, I wished I had found it earlier. Single ply lace yarns are not easy to come by, crocheting also seems to have much fewer comments than knitting and/or weaving. My experience with the Praire turned out really well though i was initially surprised by the colour ways being different from expectation. That likely is a matter of monitor screen colour display. May be I will post a picture of the finish product later.

Using this to knit a lace shawl, loving how easy it is to see the stitches, good definition. The colors, as always are fabulous and unique. Yarn is evenly, consistently spun, soft and smooth. A joy to work with.

the best word to describe MadelineTosh Prairie is "luscious". It is soft, shows stitch definition, and almost knits itself. Yardage in the skeins is very good.

                    Comments about true Prairie:

This yarn has deep, gorgeous colors (I got the Stargazing colorway), good stitch definition--perfect for the lace shawl I'm crocheting--and is a pleasure to work with. As noted on the product label, the colors do vary between skeins. There is some inconsistency in the weight (some sections seem finer and others thicker), but not enough for me to consider it a problem. All in all, I am thrilled with this product and would recommend it.
