Malabrigo Dakota Kit includes the two colors of Sock yarn needed to knit this hat and the Malabrigo Book 14 - Mechita & Sock pattern booklet, a collection of 15 sweaters and accessories all knit in Mechita and Sock. Dakota is knit from the bottom up in the round in a simple knit and purl stitch that creates diagonal textured lines across the hat. The stitch pattern allows the hat to stretch while still maintaining a slouchy look at the top. A small pompom adds an adorable finishing touch. Don’t let the yarn name fool you—Malabrigo Sock is a soft superwash Merino that is a great choice for everything from hats to shawls and yes, even socks. Note: Stitch pattern is written only.
