Futura
by Melanie Berg is named after one of the heroines in Melanie’s new novel. A
brave girl, cunning and fearless, who never hesitates to fight against evil.
This design is for her–and all the other young women out there, walking
their way. Futura is a lovely wrap with an all-over lace pattern knit from five
cast-on stitches and ending with 236 stitches. The lace patterns are
charted and written out.

Finished Measurements: 78½” wingspan and 39½” wide
Yarn Requirements: Approximately 1870 yards of lace weight yarn such as Manos del Uruguay Marina (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/874yds)
Needles: US 4 (3.50mm) circular
Gauge: 14 sts and 28 rows = 4” in garter stitch, with 2 strands of yarn held together, blocked
