The Porifera Socks from Miriam Felton are fun and easy to work in any gauge and a range of yarns. These socks are knit from the toe up beginning with a provisional cast-on and feature a gorgeous lozenge lace pattern at the toe and cuff and a short row heel. Lace pattern is both charted and written out.  

Finished Measurements: 7 (8, 9, 10, 11)” foot circumference
Yarn Requirements: 400 yards of fingering weight yarn, such as Dream in Color Smooshy (85% Superwash Merino/ 15% Nylon; 4oz/420yds)
Needles: US 1½ (2.50mm) DPNs, or size needed to obtain gauge
Gauge: 18 stitches and 28 rows = 2" in stockinette stitch
