Disappointing

I bought the purple, and the colour is just great. However, I the yardage does not seem to be at all accurate. My pattern requires 750 yards for a vest. I bought 10 balls, which should have given me more than enough. I have knit up two balls and I can tell that I will need to order more to complete the project. I don't think there is actually 110 yards per ball, which is disappointing. Also, the quality of the yarn is not the best. Lots of twig material to remove and each ball so far has had at least two areas where they have knotted the wool together. I would not order Noro again.

Solid performer: excellent color, usual problems with Noro

I use this yarn to make cowl, hat, and mitts sets. It's not exceptionally soft, but I don't wear them for long periods of time, so it does fine and is warm enough for the weather here south of the Mason-Dixon line. I would give it a five, but I wish the diameter of the yarn strand were more consistent and I always get aggravated by the grass, sticks, and trash that make it into the yarn.
However, Noro's colors are unmatched.
