You'll love the incredible softness of Noro Tokonatsu! This cotton, silk and viscose blend yarn has a tweedy look and a thick & thin quality with a touch of rustic texture, despite its unbelievable softness. Tokonatsu is a single-ply, worsted weight yarn that would make gorgeous sweaters and accessories!

Available online only. Local customers can choose the Store Pickup option when placing their order online.

Please Note: Due to the hand crafted nature of this yarn, knot may occasionally be found in skeins and color joins may vary.

Tokonatsu Not for Everyone

Comments about NORO Tokonatsu:

Let me open by saying I love Noro yarns. Tokonatsu knits up with a soft hand and a nice drape. It is best suited for loosely knit garments. Aside from the occasional knot in the strand and having to remove a lengthy too-thin section Tokonatsu provides exactly what I want for the 'everlasting summer' that is the reality of Fall in the American South.

I know others have had problems with Tokonatsu. I would not recommend it of anyone who knits with tight tension as it can be fragile as are many single ply yarns.

Comments about NORO Tokonatsu:

I was sorry to read what a rough time another knitter had with this yarn as it has worked well for me. Pistachio is the color I picked, love the color and all of the flecks of color in it and did not have any problems with the yarn breaking. I do not care for self striping yarn which Noro makes quite a lot of and this is a solid color with a tweedy effect. Of course I did not order enough at first (sweater) and the extra balls Webs sent matched perfectly. This one is a keeper for me!

I would not recommend this yarn to anyone

Comments about NORO Tokonatsu:

This yarn pulls apart easily while knitting. The yarn just fell apart three times while knitting and when I tried to tie two strands together to reattach the ball of yarn to the knitting the yarn pulled apart again when I pulled the knot tight. WEBS said I could return all of this yarn I purchased but they do not facilitate returns with prepaid shipping labels the way some other companies do so I will have to pay to ship this unusable product back to WEBS. This is makes me want to shop elsewhere.
