Learn how to pick up stitches to make flawless, smooth edges on your buttonbands, collars, sleeves, and more! Free yourself from complicated knitting instructions when you learn Shaina’s tricks for picking up evenly, every time!

You will receive the Zoom link 1-2 business days before the virtual class.

Prerequisite:
Materials Required:

US 8 (5mm) knitting needle, contrasting color worsted weight yarn

HOMEWORK:

US 8 (5 mm) knitting needle and worsted weight yarn.

Swatch:

Cast on 28 stitches.

Row 1: knit

Row 2: purl

Repeat rows 1 and 2 for 18 total rows.

Row 19: Bind off 5, knit to end

Row 20: purl

Row 21: Bind off 3, knit to end.

Row 22: purl

Row 23: Bind off 3, knit to end

Row 24: purl

Row 25: Bind off 2, knit to end

Row 26: purl

Row 27: k1, ssk, knit to the end of the row.

Row 28: purl

Rows 29-32: repeat rows 27 and 28 twice.

Row 33: knit

Row 34: purl

Row 35: knit

Row 36: purl

Bind off.
