Comments about QUEENSLAND COLLECTION Llama Soft Cotton:

i will never buy this yarn again; it breaks apart completely.

no respect for this company for releasing such an obviously inferior yarn. see their "oh we are sorry" comments...they are aware that we have wasted money on their product. if it wasn't such a hassle i would ask for a complete refund. BEWARE

Comments about QUEENSLAND COLLECTION Llama Soft Cotton:

This is the third separate time I've bought it. I mean, no, you can't exactly jump rope with it in a single strand, but finished product aren't flat or smushy or undefined. But I wouldn't expect to treat a yarn like this as if it were acrylic or superwash or something, for making say kids' clothes that need to survive heavy play and repeated machine washes.

          Too Fragile For Crochet

Comments about QUEENSLAND COLLECTION Llama Soft Cotton:

This yarn is soft but separates very easily. It is not plied which makes it even more fragile. I had to rip out a row of crochet and the yarn pulled apart with very little effort. The company needs to rethink this blend. It is virtually useless.

Comments about QUEENSLAND COLLECTION Llama Soft Cotton:

I am surprised that other knitters had trouble with this yarn, the pullover I made with it turned out beautifully and the yardage was such that I have a lot left to make something else! Soft but not too warm, I like the fiber combo, instead of pulling apart I found I could join the next skein like I would with wool, instead of braiding was able to felt ends together.

Comments about QUEENSLAND COLLECTION Llama Soft Cotton:

The yarn broke while I was casting on to swatch! I continued anyway, and the stitch definition is uneven (on a 6) and the fabric is mushy and flat. Queensland does a good job with some interesting yarns, but this blend needs to be retired.

Comments about QUEENSLAND COLLECTION Llama Soft Cotton:

I haven't even begun to knit a swatch with this yarn and am already so frustrated with it that I had to hop on here and warn other buyers. The skein is only tied on one side so it is very tangly and makes working with a ball winder extremely tedious. Also, as I was winding, I discovered THREE knotted ends in ONE skein. Ridiculous!

Comments about QUEENSLAND COLLECTION Llama Soft Cotton:

While making my swatch, I noticed that only slight pressure on the yarn and it just pulls apart. It's not worth investing hours of knitting with this clearly inferior yarn.
