Feeding my addiction--gloriously

By Captain Hook

Comments about "" 4-Ply Blitz Color:

Gee, I like the Blitz line! As yet another classic Regia 4-ply pattern-dyed yarn--engineered and production managed in Germany, spun in Italy--it just makes me happy. And I don't think you can go wrong with it.

Since I work socks in crochet (SC with a 2 or 2.25 mm inline-head steel hook), the little lightning bolts in the darker stripes don't render quite the same as they do in knitting...but that's fine with me. I still get a nicely figured fabric with the rich colors and all the qualities of Regia 4-ply sockenwolle.

Interestingly, this yarn feels to my hand almost like a light sport weight. I was comparing it to Regia Galaxy Saturn from about 2008. Blitz seems slightly thicker, but that may just be because my hands are torn up with the onset of the gardening and firewood-making year!
