      Comments about 7.49 Alpaca Colour:

Webs promised a free pattern with a purchase but when I bought the yarn, there were no patterns left. No indication during the order process. When I contacted them to ask where the pattern was, I was told they were all gone. No more buying from Webs!

This is one of my favorite yarns. It is stunningly soft and the color variations are really beautiful. It also felts really well and stays really soft.

      Excellent yarn

      Comments about 7.49 Alpaca Colour:

Iron color is a nice combo of rusty red and sort of a dark taupe brown. It's a very mild variegated, you get a big chunk of one color then a big chunk of another, which is in no way a design flaw! For the price you can't find a nicer, softer, easier to knit yarn. Two and a half-ish hanks made a 6" wide men's scarf on size 5 needles.

Yes, it's sort of hard to see precisely what colors you are going to get from the picture online but seriously, you're getting such good yarn for not much money it's not worth complaining!

I hope I can get a refund for this yarn

      Comments about 7.49 Alpaca Colour:

This yarn arrived today and I am very disappointed. The colors are awful. The "ruby" is more of a mottled, sickly grayish pink. I don't think it even qualifies as red at all. Sadly, I wanted red yarn and I despise pink. The "emerald" is more blue than green. The project was supposed to be green. So now I have 7 skeins of each color and I don't think either color can even be overdyed in order to make them work. I was also disappointed with the lack of description on the WEBS site. It was hard to tell if this was a single ply or more than one. I normally avoid knitting with unpliedmyarns because they where terribly and pill. Well, it's an unplied yarn. Had the website written this in the description I wouldn't have touched it.the web description also didn't mention that the yarn was kind of variegated. Again, had I known this, I wouldn't have ordered it because it is not appropriate for my project.

Color changed halfway through the skein

      Comments about 7.49 Alpaca Colour:

I purchased this yarn in Agate. Everything about the yarn is great, but I noticed midway through the hat that I was knitting that the color of the yarn abruptly (and very noticeably) changed and then later changed back to the original color. Once I noticed, I just threw out my work and started over with different yarn.
