I love how versatile this yarn is. It knits up on everything from a US3 to a US8 and can be used as a fingering to worsted weight in patterns. The colors are amazing and it is exciting to watch the self-striping unfold. My first project with this yarn was the Color Play Wrap and blending 4 different colorways together in this one project was so much fun! It creates a lightweight, warm, drapey fabric. The only drawback is that the fibers felt together quickly, so tinking back to correct mistakes is very difficult.

I loved this yarn when I saw it and purchased 3 balls at a high price. I have lost a good percentage of feeling in my fingers and have a very difficult time knitting with yarn of this weight. If you have peripheral neuropathy or are losing feeling in your fingers, I would suggest a heavier yarn.

Comments about "" Kidsilk Haze Stripe Colours by Kaffe Fassett:

I had a pattern that called for it so I ordered it. I thought it was thicker like kid silk by Rowan. It's like kid silk haze. Yeah, that's even in the name, But very thin. Lace weight.

Beautiful colour combinations, interesting colour distribution. Unlike other hand dyed kid mohair. Great next to skin as well.
