The product is beautiful and satisfactory. However, full disclosure is recommended. Specifically, it is like knitting with sewing machine thread! Stitches slip off the plastic needles easily, unnoticed, corrections need a small crochet hook to fix, and bright light to work in all the time. The item I am doing is a wrap with sequins. Not easy, although the pattern is easy. I was very pleased to find your company which was recommended with pattern instructions. Gloria
I love Kidsilk Haze! There’s a reason they call it crack silk haze…
Using the yarn with a Shetland wool fingerling and am happy with the results. I purchased the darker shade of blue of Rowan Kidsilk Haze.
I was working with a Shetland fingerling yarn that was a little on the rough side ; not pleasant to work with and I dreaded to think how ending scarf would feel. I decided to start over thinking I could work with the Shetland if I paired it with a softer yarn. The Rowan Kidsilk Haze looked promising - found the perfect color match with Trance. It has made a world difference! I have enjoyed knitting with this doubled with the fingerling. It seems fine and wispy but it is strong and easy to work with and has given my scarf the softness I was looking for.
Beautiful colors and luxurious feel to this yarn. It takes any project to a higher level and makes your efforts worthwhile.
