I made a summer vest from this when the yarn first came out. When it went on sale I bought enough for two more tops -great yarn for summer items, quick to knit with.

          Comments about "" Savannah:

I am using this yarn to make a cardigan. The end fabric is nice and textured, but the feel as you knit is not very pleasant. I also think I would not wear it right next to the skin. I had to use much smaller needles than suggested to get the gage.

                  Comments about "" Savannah:

I absolutely LOVE this yarn - - and it's being discontinued!! So I'm stashing/hoarding for future projects. I'm almost finished with a V-neck tee for summer, have a poncho-type wrap next in line for Fall, and another shell for summer, all for which I'll use this yarn. I love it's "primitive" look and the feel is soft but with substance. Just a really wonderful worsted weight yarn.

                    Comments about "" Savannah:

Living in Arizona, I wanted to knit my first summer top with a natural, neutral fiber - something I could wear to work and after work, nothing too hot. I found this beautiful yarn at a local shop and hit the jackpot! I'm almost done with this pattern and can't wait to wear the top. I'm bummed because it's being discontinued. Guess I'll have to stock up on a good stash for future projects (2 more in mind)!

                    Comments about "" Savannah:

I use this product not only for traditional knitting but also for jewelry and mixed media art. The texture and subtle colors make it ideal for non-traditional uses. It is a little course for use in clothes that may touch the skin directly...otherwise a beautiful yarn to work with.
