Product came swiftly-I used more up on the first item than I thought so I bought the last 4 balls. I made a "Sleevie Wonder" and it is sooo soft and cuddly.

I never really need yarn but Rowan yarn at a great price is too good to pass up. I started the sweater and love working with this yarn.

        Comments about "" Tweed Aran:

I had hoped for an indoor vest, but this yarn is so dense that I will use it as an outdoor vest in the fall. I may make the pattern again in a worsted weight yarn for indoor wear.

        Comments about "" Tweed Aran:

Wwe were at WEBS and my husband was bemoaning that he wanted a tweed yarn similar to a sweater he used to have. The sales associate heard him and told him to look on a particular shelf and there it was. The only issue is that it says 4.25-4.75 st/inch and it knit at 4/inch, on a size 7. There were no knots in the 13 balls that I used and no weak spots. It is a single ply yarn and you do need to be aware of that. It made a very warm sweater.

            Comments about "" Tweed Aran:

I knitted an entire sweater. As I was knitting a hood together with the Kitchener stitch the yarn frayed and had to knot to proceed. This happened in several other places which I could work, but the hood was not easy. In addition each skein had several breaks where it was knotted together. Lots of ends to manage.
            Not happy!

            Comments about "" Tweed Aran:

I am knitting the Rowan Gwendoline sweater and this yarn is just beautiful to work with. It's a single ply tweed, and you need to take care if you need to rip as it can break. But this yarn has a wonderful hand with a lot of body and I would definitely use it again.
