Schachenmayr Aventica Supreme is a worsted weight, chain-constructed yarn in a very soft blend of acrylic, superwash wool, alpaca & polyamide. Each strand that makes up the chain is marled. giving this yarn a bit of a tweedy look. The chain construction makes this yarn lightweight, but still warm. Think cushy sweaters, warm cowls and cozy hats - all machine washable. Made in Italy

Note: the ball band on this yarn might say "SMC", but this is the same company as Schachenmayr.

Kinda disappointed

Comments about false Aventica Supreme:

Truth be told, I haven't knit with this yarn yet but once I received this order, I was thoroughly disappointed in the color. The photo shows a brighter light cream joined with the color. It's more a faded, dull beige making the overall yarn rather flat and bland.
I will update once I complete my project.
