    Comments about false Micro Grande:

I bought this to make some light summer scarves for some lovely ladies in a local seniors group. The colors were very nice and the yarn is soft to the touch. The stitches look very crisp as long as you don't split the yarn. That is the problem though. This yarn splits if you even look at it funny. It wound up taking several hours longer than it should for each small Vstitch scarf that I crocheted because I had to go very slowly to avoid catching bits of the lower loops. The scarves looked great and were very well received though so I can't be too mad. The yarn itself is 6 very loosely plied strands that look almost like thread. There is no halo to speak of.
