Shaft Length: 6" (15.24 cm)Arm Length: 4" (10.16 cm)
Weights: Fully Weighted 0.8 oz (22 g)
Half Weighted 0.6 oz (17 g)
No Weights 0.3 oz (9 g)
The spindle also comes with assembly instructions, 1 extra cap screw, a card with the cap screw info (in case you lose more than one bolt).
What makes the Medium Destiny Turkish Spindle different?
It uses 4 smaller arms that nest together to create the whorl, rather than 2 long arms. When using this patent pending design it is possible to have weight on the tips of the arms and still be able to disassemble the spindle to get the center pull ball off. The weights are also removable so you can fine tune the spindle to your liking, even when you have yarn on the spindle. The spindles are 3D printed from Polylactic acid (PLA). PLA is derived from renewable resources like cornstarch and tapioca roots and is biodegradable. The plastic starts to melt at 140-149 °F, so keep them where you'll also be comfortable!
