Comments about false Celine:

This lace weight metallic thread is nice to knit together with another yarn, for added glitz, or can be used solo. I used it doubled for a stripe in a knitted sweater. Also, it was a very pretty lace stripe in a shawl. It does feel rather coarse while knitting, but makes a wearable soft fabric once knitted. Also, it does split easily and needs to be knotted at the loose ends to keep from fraying, but is worth the extra effort for the gorgeous finished product. Bamboo needles help keep it from slipping during the working process.
I wish it came in more colors.

      Comments about false Celine:

I bought this along with another mohair yarn to make a specific pattern sweater. It tends to break and unravel. The texture is kind of coarse too. It is pretty though.

        Comments about false Celine:

VERY slippery--had to switch from Addi Turbos to bamboo needles and the knitting was just too hard on my hands. I realized I was not enjoying the knitting and bailed out of it. Will possibly try holding it together with another yarn?
