*This class fulfills the Requirement for WEKP.
Together we’ll learn a handful of intermediate techniques while knitting 3 sparkly and fun holiday ornaments. Over 3 classes we will learn 2 ways to add beads to your knitting, how to do duplicate stitch (colorwork after you’re done with the knitting!!), invisible seaming, and how to make a decorative tassel.
You will receive the Zoom link 1-2 business days before the virtual class.

Materials Required:
https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/stellas-ornaments---vol-1 About 150 yards each of 2 contrasting colors of DK weight yarn (Valley Yarns Hamden, Northfield, or
Superwash DK recommended)
Scraps of other colored DK weight yarns if desired
Size 4 US needles (we will be knitting the ornaments flat, then seaming)
Size G or H crochet hook
Size 10 or 12 Steel Crochet hook (or size small enough to fit into your beads, see below)
Oral B Superfloss (available at drugstores or Amazon)
Stuffing
Locking stitch marker
Regular stitch markers
50 size 5/0 (sometimes called E beads) or 6/0 seed beads. 5/0 are bigger so your ornaments will be
sparklier

Cancellation
Policy: For all classes, payment of full tuition is due at time of
registration. Tuition will be refunded only if the class is cancelled by WEBS,
or if there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled.
