      Comments about "" Sunshine:

I tried knitting several patterns but did not like most of them. The thick & thin gauge limits pattern selection. Am now trying another pattern using the yarn double stranded. I think it's working better than single strand.

        Comments about "" Sunshine:

I also couldn't find information on line about this yarn. Based on the previous reviewer's comments and the photo of her swatch, I bought the yarn in four colors. I knitted a swatch in a lace pattern--it looked nice, and am now knitting a scarf in a lace pattern. The yarn looks and feels substantial, but light weight, soft and airy. It's easy to knit. No shedding. I like the thick/thin quality of the yarn. Nice selection of colors. I returned and bought more quantities in the colors I bought earlier. I think the yarn will work well in tank tops and summer sweaters.

          Comments about "" Sunshine:

I could find virtually no information anywhere on the web (even in Ravelry) about Sunshine, but was intrigued by the texture, colorway, and fiber content, and since the price was right, took a chance on a sweater quantity of color 41. It knits up at about 5 st/in in st st on a 3.5mm needle, with variation from fingering to worsted, not including the slubs. The fabric is shimmery, light, drapes well, and has the texture of chenille. In this colorway, the white color of the slubs soften the yarn's bright green and orange hues. The three stitch patterns I tried in my swatch showed up well, but the slubs would obscure anything very intricate. My swatch maintained its shape with a gentle wet block, with no bleeding or shedding. When I decide what stitch to use, I think this will knit up as a really beautiful casual sweater for cool summer evenings.
