When Swans Island All American Collection Worsted arrived here at WEBS, everyone gathered around to admire it! This 2-ply yarn embodies rustic sophistication, in a blend of alpaca fiber from small East Coast farms and Rambouillet wool from Western ranches. This worsted weight yarn is beautifully hand-dyed  by Swans Island in gorgeous, sophisticated, slightly heathered colors. This yarn will make amazing sweaters, accessories and much more. Made entirely in the USA

Note: This is a hand-dyed yarn so dye lots will vary. When changing to a new skein, we recommend alternating between skeins for several rows.

Love Swan Island!

Comments about true All American Collection Worsted:

Used this yarn for a poncho with cable detailing. At first I thought a little scratchy, however after wet blocking it is soft and hangs easily with no stiffness. Color was consistent from skein to skein. I think I would have liked it alittle better if I had used a size 8 needle on this project. Good stitch definition. Would buy again

      Watch your gauge.
A forgiving yarn, and great fit with good drape.
