Swans Island Mark Island Scarf PDF
The classic Mark Island Scarf was inspired by the traditional stripe patterns found in the Swans Island blankets. A simple linen stitch is used throughout to impart a woven look to the face of the fabric. The backside of this fabric has an equally interesting texture that looks like seed stitch, so there really is no “right” or “wrong” side. Any combination of Swans Island naturally dyed yarns will look great. Combine one neutral color with one saturated color for an endless number of lovely combinations. This classic stripe pattern is super versatile and can be tailored to anyone on your knitworthy list!
