Swatching - V - Winter 2025

*This class fulfills the Swatching Requirement for WEKP.

A gauge swatch will tell you everything you need to know about the final outcome of the hours you'll spend with some beautiful yarn and your favorite needles. Swatching For Success will help you find out why that's true! In spite of all the information your gauge swatch imparts, many knitters skip this vital step to the detriment of their project's fit and feel. In this virtual class, students will dissect the elements of a properly knit gauge swatch including stitch count, row count, fabric characteristics, and needle size. Most importantly, you'll become much more in tune with your knitting. Your knitting wants you to take this class!

You will receive the Zoom link 1-2 business days before the virtual class.

Please have some knitted projects at hand to practice measuring gauge on during class. Note taking materials.

HOMEWORK:

When possible, please buy your materials from WEBS.

Cancellation Policy: For all classes, payment of full tuition is due at time of registration. Tuition will be refunded only if the class is cancelled by WEBS, or if there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled.
