I used larger needles than recommended and did nothing but purl a cowl -- Cast on about 120 and just knitted until it was about 16" deep. The result looked like lace. It was a gift and my friend immediately tried draping it over her shoulders, and then twisting it once around her neck and then pulling it over her head -- another flattering look.

I tried on a sweater knitted in Takhi's Rosa at at knitshop in No. Calif. I loved the texture, softness, and fit of this sweater. The owner of the shop downloaded the Takhi shell sweater pattern for me, and i purchased the yarn from your site. The yarn was difficult to knit with my Addi turbo circular needles, as the stitches kept sliding off the needles. I found when I used a larger bamboo needle to cast off, how easy it was to control the yarn, as the bamboo needle provided enough friction to keep the yarn on the needle. I do love the natural pattern in the sweater created by the yarn's texture - it adds a lot of interest to a very simple sweater.

I loved the pattern for this yarn - and the finished product looks really nice, BUT the yarn sheds so badly, I'm still finding pieces of the fluff a month after finishing the garment.

    Comments about 9.95 Rosa:

The yarn is soft but fuzzy so much that fuzz comes off like lint. It is nice to work into a sweater. I love the texture. It breaks when under pressure like sewing the seams. I used a different yarn to sew up the seams of the tunic top I made.
It is warmer than it looks.

                Service and delivery comments:

I received quick service and delivery of my online order. When I requested more yarn, I asked for same dye lot and received it. Good value for price, as well.

                    Comments about 9.95 Rosa:

Yarn is very difficult to work with if you're a busy mom who divides her attention between knitting and piano practice! I am working on a lace knit cardigan, and the yarn demands such close attention that I am counting my stitches twice after every row. Because the yarn varies from bulky piles to almost finger weight thickness, it's difficult to see the stitches as I work. So frustrating!
