Twice now, I have purchased this yarn and used it to make 2 baby sweaters and a baby hat. It is incredible--soft, springy, with a slight halo. It is one of my all-time favorite yarns and absolutely worth the price. I cannot think of anything that would make it better, the slight color changes in the dye are subtle and lovely--just wonderful!

This yarn feels lovely and has a luminous quality. I would give it 5 stars, but there is a great deal of color variation between skeins even though they are all from the same dye lot. The yarn company explains this is due to how it is dyed and suggests alternating skeins, which I did, but the difference is so extreme I now have stripes. Pretty disappointed as I have already knit the body up to the underarms. My 5 remaining skeins have 4 that mostly seem to match and 1 that is significantly darker.

Comments about THE FIBRE CO. Canopy Fingering:

I am knitting a shawl, Contrail, with two colors of Canopy Fingering. The yarn has a wonderful soft hand and knits up a lovely garter stitch. The muted colors are beautiful.

Purchased this Canopy Fingering yarn to knit the Whale Watch Hat by Kate Gagnon Osborn. I agree with all the glowing reviews.......soft, springy, lovely heather color blending. A joy to knit.

This was a rare purchase of the exact yarn used in the pattern (Amélie). The stitch definition is glorious and it's so, so soft. Love knitting with this yarn.

This yarn is wonderful. It is a little heavier than some fingering yarns. But it knits beautifully and feels good in your hands.

This is the first time I have bought Canopy Fingering yarn. I have loved other Fibre Co. yarns, and I am now very happy with Canopy also. It was exactly as I hoped it would be. I haven't knit with it yet, but am looking forward to doing so.

Comments about THE FIBRE CO. Canopy Fingering:

I bought the discontinued colors because I had bought this fabulous yarn in 2 shades of teal, and the color stained my hands as I was winding the yarn, and my needles as I tried to knit with it. STAY AWAY FROM GREEN AND BLUES, unless you really don't care about your needles or you are not doing any color work.
Otherwise, it is a beautiful yarn, yummy to the touch, and the colors are beautiful.

This was my first time using Canopy, but it won't be the last. I purchased this for a colorwork hat, and it works up beautifully. The yarn is very soft, feels good in the hand. I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about knitting some cozy warm accessories.

My yarn arrived in a timely manner and was packaged very securely, as usual!
