Just a heads up, this book has one bad mess up in it. This is the only one I've found as yet. On page 69 you will find instructions for "Reverse Short Row Shaping". The instructions say:
Row 1: Knit across to next wrapped st. Knit st tog with wrap as follows: yf, sl next st as if to purl, yb, sl wrapped st back to LH needle. Turn. This stitch now has 2 wraps.
This is supposed to say:
Row 1: Knit across to next wrapped st. Knit st tog with wrap as follows: sl st to RH needle as if to purl, PU wrap with LH needle and place on RH needle, sl both loops back to LH needle as if to purl and knit st tog with the wrap, yf, sl next st as if to purl, yb, sl wrapped st back to LH needle. Turn. This st now has 2 wraps.
If you're like me and just learning to do a short row heel with wrap and turn stitches then you're already having troubles haha. I did the same heel four times wondering why the count kept coming off. Finally after a LOT of research from other sources and videos I sat to practice the heel again and it still came out wrong. This time I had enough sense to realize the pattern has a pretty important part omitted from the text haha. Now I am finally back on track and thanks to all the investigative work short rows are actually so easy to do now I can't believe the weeks of frustration I previously felt hahaha. Always remember to keep trying no matter what life throws at you.
