poor quality

Comments about UNIVERSAL YARN Deluxe Worsted:

Very disappointed with this yarn. I love the color (lemon), but it's really scratchy and I found a lot of blue wire-like strings mixed in with the yarn. I'm knitting a sweater with it, but I'm going to make it much bigger than I originally planned, and make it a short sleeve and wider collar so that my skin won't touch the yarn. Good thing I bought them on sale or otherwise I'd have been upset. It certainly does not worth the original price.

Comments about UNIVERSAL YARN Deluxe Worsted:

My skeins were soft and not scratchy at all - colour pussywillow grey. This is a very versatile light worsted that was softer than cascade in the colour I purchased.

Comments about UNIVERSAL YARN Deluxe Worsted:

I don't often write a review until I've used the yarn, but I was underwhelmed at first sight. I had planned a sweater, but this is going to be used to practice felting and perfecting techniques now. It's scratchy and hard.
