The Valley Yarns Designer Series Avocet Kit includes the PDF pattern download and the Southwick yarn in Soft Grape you need to knit this richly textured shawl.

Avocet is a soft and drapey triangular shawl that highlights the best qualities of Valley Yarns Southwick. With a smooth feel and a beautiful sheen, this blend of Pima cotton and bamboo is perfect for warm-weather projects—both to knit and to wear! Avocet features an intricate lace and cable pattern along one edge with additional small cables climbing the reverse stockinette stitch background. Summer shawls can be the perfect accessory to ward off overzealous A/C without overheating you, and Avocet is a gorgeous choice! Stitch patterns are both charted and written out.
