Skipperling is the perfect combination of style and comfort with its cabled
details, relaxed fit, and funnel neck. Valley Yarns Hampden blends baby alpaca,
Merino wool, and silk into a yarn that adds elegance and drape to this pullover
as well as cozy softness. Skipperling begins with cable strips at the hems of
the front and back, with stitches picked up along the edge to work each piece
up to the shoulders, where they are joined using a three-needle bind-off. Skipperling’s
beautiful cabled sleeves are knit flat and set in during finishing. Cable
patterns are both charted and written out.
