The Valley Yarns Scallopwing Kit includes the PDF pattern download and the two colors of Hampden yarn needed to knit this cozy cardigan.

Scallopwing is a stunning open-front cardigan that features a deep hem of double trellis stitch and integrated pockets lined in a contrasting color that’s echoed at the edgings for a cohesive look. Valley Yarns Hampden is a luxurious blend of baby alpaca, Merino wool, and silk with a beautiful drape and sheen that’s also cozy and warm to wear. Scallopwing is knit flat in one piece to the underarms, where the back and fronts are completed individually and joined at the shoulder using a three-needle bind-off. Sleeves are knit flat separately and set in and seamed during finishing. Scallopwing will be your go-to sweater as the seasons shift, easily transitioning from an essential layer to a coat substitute as spring brings warmer temperatures. Trellis stitch is both charted and written out.
