pattern, which makes this ideal for new knitters who want to enhance simple lace
and cable knitting skills, yet interesting enough to keep more experienced knitters
captivated. The scarf is knit flat in one piece from the bottom up seamlessly
with garter stitch edges, and both cast-on and bind-off edges are worked with
matching garter stitch borders. Valley Yarns Charlemont is a stunning blend of
superwash Merino, Mulberry silk, and polyamide. It is incredibly soft with a
lustrous sheen that accentuates the jewel-like colors. The lace and cable
pattern is charted and written out.
