The
Valley Yarns Nottingham Kit includes the PDF pattern download and Southampton
and 2/10 Merino Tencel yarns.
Nottingham is an elegant pullover with a beautiful juxtaposition of textures,
pairing its opaque body section with sheer stripes, yoke, and sleeves. Valley
Yarns Southampton provides lightweight warmth and a soft mohair halo with a
silk strand base. 2/10 Merino Tencel® is a perfect
companion to Southampton with its beautiful drape, warmth, and sheen. Both yarns
are held together from the hem up to the underarms, where Southampton completes
the yoke alone and the shoulders are joined with a three-needle bind-off. After
the front and back pieces are seamed together at the sides, sleeves stitches
are picked up around the armhole and worked in the round to the wrist.
A simple neckline trim and turning up the
sleeve and body hems complete this pullover and have a sweater ready to dress
up or down with any outfit.
