Wintersweet is a large triangle shawl that combines different yarns and stitch patterns in a fun to knit project. Valley Yarns Huntington and Huntington Splash both blend superwash Merino wool and nylon for a soft and smooth yarn that's also machine-washable. Huntington comes in small hanks of solid colors while Huntington Splash offers larger hanks that feature dashes of contrasting colors throughout. This shawl begins at the largest side with a stockinette section that transitions into a slipped-stitch mosaic pattern that combines both yarns before switching to a texture pattern worked in the solid color alone. Decreases shape Wintersweet and have the added bonus of helping the project go faster as you near the end. Knit this colorful shawl for yourself or for a special handmade gift!
