Product Details
The Sprig Scarf and Mittens are cozy, quick, and fun to knit accessories that are designed to work both with the Wreathe Pullover or separately—all three pieces are knit using Valley Yarns Berkshire Bulky. The sunny, self-fringing scarf is knit lengthwise in a carefree knit and purl stitch pattern. The mittens are simple and warm and provide a perfect canvas for some creative surface crochet.

Mittens: to fit women’s Small (Medium, Large)
Finished Measurements:
Scarf: 8” wide; 56” long plus fringe
Mittens: 7½ (8¼, 9)” hand circumference
Yarn Requirements: Valley Yarns Berkshire Bulky (85% Wool/ 15% Alpaca; 100g/108yds)
Scarf: 4 skeins, shown in #10 Gold
Mittens: 2 skeins, shown in #42 Dark Grey Heather plus scraps of #32 Lime Green and #10 Gold for surface crochet (optional)
Needles:
Scarf: US 11 (8.00mm) 40” circular
Mittens: US 8 (5.00mm) DPNs
Gauge:
Scarf: about 10 sts = 4” in garter stitch (exact gauge isn’t critical)
Mittens: 4 sts and 6 rows = 1” in stockinette stitch worked in the round
