The Valley Yarns Hobnail Hat and Mittens set lets texture shine in offset 2x1 ribbing that reads like seed stitch but is easier on a knitter’s hands. This slouchy hat and matching mittens are perfect quick projects for last-minute gifting.
Finished Measurements:
Hat – 20” circumference and 10” deep
Mittens – 8” hand circumference and 10” long
Yarn Requirements: 3 skeins Valley Yarns Brimfield (70% Extrafine Merino Wool/ 30% Silk; 50g/109yds) shown in Hydro
Needles: US 5 (3.75mm) 16” circular and DPNs
Gauge: 24 sts and 36 rnds = 4” in pattern stitch
