Comments about VALLEY YARNS Bromley:

Making fingerless gloves. Yarn is a little fragile. While casting on it just came apart. It has been fine since then..maybe a weak spot in the strands. Hope they hold up since they are presents.

Comments about VALLEY YARNS Bromley:

Only a few inches into my project with Bromley but so far, I'm liking it. Has a good hand, doesn't split and holds its gauge very well. Worth the price.

Comments about VALLEY YARNS Bromley:

I simply didn't like this yarn. It wasn't soft at all. It was unremarkable and unpleasant to the hand as I knitted. although I finished the cowl, I didn't like the look.

      Comments about VALLEY YARNS Bromley:

I bought this yarn for the Tangled Yoke Cardigan. The yarn is a loosely spun, 2-ply yarn and has a tendency to split. It is delicate, and I recommend working each ball from the outside in rather than doing the center pull. I was able to do hand-felted joins, which was very convenient when I'm working with 14 balls of which 2 had a knot, and each ball seemed so small. So much so that I decided to weigh them and found that each weighed between 19-21 grams. I also found that each 20 grams yields 84 yards. At this point I was worried that I wouldn't have enough yarn to finish the sweater. I contacted Webs and they sent me the extra balls to cover the weight difference right away.

The yarn is really soft to work with and feels like pure cashmere. There is a slight hint of spinning oil in the yarn but it still had the cashmere halo. After I soaked the sweater in Eucalan, the yarn blossomed very nicely.
