I made a wide lacy scarf with lots of eyelets and picot edges. It blocked so light and lovely! It was a pleasure to knit with this yarn. Relaxing as it was simple to use - yet elegant to the touch. The colors are brilliant. This was bought with a gift card from a work friend who I gave the scarf to as a surprise.

I know hand dyed yarns are not predictable in color but the lack of variation was really surprising.

Comments about true Charlemont Hand Dyed by the Kangaroo Dyer:

This yarn is just beautiful! I purchased the Oak Grover colorway and the colors are spectacular. Perfect for fall. I have yet to use this yarn because the pattern I purchased it for just won't do it justice. In the meantime I'll enjoy having it my stash until something worthy comes along.

I am making a shawl for my daughter. The way the yarn is dyed, the color variations are beautiful. The yarn is soft and doesn't split easily, making it really nice to work with. It has a nice drape and will be enough to keep her warm on cool nights.

Use single for any pattern calling for fingerling yarn or double for patterns calling for thicker yarn.
This yarn feels great as you are working with it and the color progression is bright and great fun.
I can't think of anything I don't like about it.
If you enjoy great color and very special soft yarn you are in for a treat as you are working with it and as a finished product.

I love to knit shawls, and I particularly like to knit lace. This product is terrific, and the colors make even the simplest pattern special and beautiful. I highly recommend the Falling Leaves Shawl pattern using any color of this yarn. The pattern knits up fast, makes a great wrap, and would make a perfect to gift for Christmas.
