Aloe is a breezy cardigan that begins with a unique triangular shawl construction. This garment begins at the center back and quickly grows and takes shape with increases, creating a triangle shape. Left and right sections continue off from the sides of the triangle and carry the lace pattern over the shoulders and down the front. Stitches picked up along the cast-on edge at the center back join the fronts at the underarm to work the body in one piece to the hem with lace continuing down the fronts while a garter rib flows down the back. Tiny seams at the underarm and back neck complete Aloe and give you a garment ready to top any outfit this summer! Pima cotton Valley Yarns Westhampton ensures that this cardigan will be silky soft and cool to wear even as the temperatures rise. Lace patterns are both charted and written out; garter rib is written out only.
