Leyden by Valley Yarns superwash merino fingerling color #02

    Comments about true Leyden:

I bought this originally to make a shawl for a friend. I loved the soft lavender grey color and thought she would as well. Then found that she would have preferred something in red----who knew? So I decided to use this to make a pair of socks for me. So far one and a half done. Soft and cushy but can stand up to my frogging here and there to go back to rectify a mistake.

    Service and delivery comments:

It came quickly and in good shape.

    Comments about true Leyden:

I bought this yarn because it was pretty and felt nice, and what a great find it is! I am 1/4 of the way through a scarf, and it is simply lovely to work with. It feels nice on the needles, has great drape, no fuzz, and the subtle color changes are beautiful. I will definitely "need" more of this!

      Comments about true Leyden:

I'm currently using this yarn on my loom, weaving a scarf with WEBS' scarf pattern. I really like the jewel tones and I've wefted it with black Tencel. My only caution is to beat LIGHTLY as the directions recommend! I've had two selvedge breaks before lightening up my beat. Seems to be going ok now. AND, I think it would make lovely socks!
