Valley Yarns WEBS DIR05 Made To Border by Fiona Ellis

Our fifth pattern in the Designer in Residence series is Made to Border, a cute little cap sleeve cardigan perfect for throwing on over a tank top. The main feature of this design is the border patterning which gradually morphs into gradually diminishing cables. The top is completed with simple edging and a knitted tie closure. The cable pattern is in written form only.

Finished Measurements: 
     Bust – 31½ (34, 37, 40) (43, 45½, 48)”
     Length – 21½ (22½, 23, 23½) (24, 24½, 25½)” from hem to shoulder
Yarn Requirements: 7 (8, 8, 9) (10, 11, 12) balls Valley Yarns Northfield (70% Merino Wool/ 20% Baby Alpaca/ 10% Silk; 50g/124yds) shown in 10 Sea Spray
Needles: US 6 (4.00mm) single points; 24” circular and DPNs
Gauge: 
     27 sts and 32 rows = 4” in Chart D
     22 sts and 32 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch
