VERSACIKNITS Superellipse is a geometric shape with a form that's partway between an ellipse and a rectangle and that shape comes to life in this cowl of the same name. The cowl is knit in the round using a simple stitch pattern that makes it look much harder to make then it is! The stripe pattern is charted and written out.

Yarn Requirements: Approximately 375 (550) yards of sport or fingering weight yarn evenly split between 2 colors such as Valley Yarns Huntington (75% Superwash Merino Wool/ 25% Nylon; 50g/218yds)

     US 4 (3.50mm) 16” circular
     US 5(3.75mm) 16” circular
Gauge:
     24 sts and 36 rnds = 4” in stockinette st on US 5 (3.75mm)
     26 sts and 43 rnds = 4” in Superellipse pattern stitch on US 4 (3.50mm), blocked
