Weaving With Finger Controlled Techniques on the Rigid Heddle Loom

$85.00

There are many ways to explore weaving on your rigid heddle loom that allow the weaver to create texture and pattern. This class will focus on creating a detailed sampler using different finger controlled techniques such as Leno, Brook's Bouquet, Medallion, and Spanish Lace. These techniques are great for adding finishing touches to all sorts of hand woven items. You can use your detailed sampler as a guide to design any number of home decor projects such as curtains, table runners, napkins, and placemats. Or if garments are your main interest, you could create beautiful shawls and scarves. Please bring your loom with a warp on ready to weave. See the homework instructions for details. Make sure to bring a lunch to this day-long class.
