Wildwood Yarns Pima Silk Handpaint is a gorgeous blend of super-soft Pima cotton and lustrous silk. The silk adds just a touch of sheen to this incredibly soft yarn and the hand painted colors are absolutely stunning. With 327 yards per skein, this yarn is perfect for spring and summer garments! Limited stock, while supplies last.

Hand dyed yarns have subtle variations in colors that are natural and may vary from skein to skein.  There may be differences between pictures shown and the yarn you receive. To ensure the best results for your project:

  • Buy enough yarn for your entire project at one time.
  • When using hand dyed yarn in your project work two rows from one skein and two rows from another skein to give an overall blended effect.

If you have any concerns about your hand dyed yarn, please contact Customer Service for assistance in returning or exchanging your yarn.

I'm relatively new to crocheting and all my local yarn choices come from big box stores. This was my first online yarn purchase and I was nervous. I feel in love with this yarn as I removed it from the packaging. It's exactly what I wanted and the colors are what was pictured. I bought four different colors and I'm almost finished with the first scarf. The variation of color changes with almost every stitch! Shipment arrived as expected. I will be back and look forward to becoming a faithful customer.

Nice soft yarn and very pretty multiple colors. But the hanks are not put up right and are tangled, and I had to cut the yarn off my Winder and undo the rest with great difficulty by hand. The two other hanks were OK but they kept hanging up. It was such a hassle that I won't buy this brand again. It was pricey too and not very silky feeling.

Lovely colors. Texture does not have bounce...which is understandable due to silk content.

Comments about WILDWOOD YARNS Pima Silk Handpaint:

I'm planning on making a lacy scarf and fell in love with the colors. I haven't started it yet because both hanks are an ugly mess to untangle. I've managed one, after too many hours of following the twists and turns. The other is waiting patiently for me to get enough patience to untangle it!

I'm making a sweater now and this is so easy to work with and soft enough to be really comfortable. I love the way the colors work up with no striping.

The feel is fabulous. I am using it in a scarf in both warp and weft. The scarf will be log cabin with black bamboo silk and this yarn. The first 6 inches are fabulous.

I bought this for a lacy summer tank. I wish it were a bit less busy so the lace texture would come through more.

Comments about WILDWOOD YARNS Pima Silk Handpaint:

It took about 4 hours to wind one skein of the yarn. The other skeins were fine.

Yarn is easy to work with and the product is very attractive. I am making a lace and cable sweater.
