Ysolda Vintage Button Gloves PDF

Ysolda's Vintage Button Gloves pattern yields long, elegant gloves with a simple twisted stitch cable pattern that follows the taper of the wrist. Closely spaced decorative buttons down the outside of each cuff are inspired by vintage kid gloves, but since knitting is so much stretchier, this version is much more practical. Gloves are knit in one piece in the round from cuff to hand, with fingers and thumb completed individually in the round as well. The cable patterns are charted and written out.

Finished Measurements: Choose size closest to actual measurement or with slight positive ease.

Yarn Requirements: Approximately 250 (300) yards of DK weight yarn, such as Valley Yarns Valley Superwash DK (100% Extra Fine Superwash Merino Wool; 50g/137yds)

Gauge: 24 sts and 32 rnds = 4" in reverse stockinette
